100x Back Squat @ bodyweight (round up, of course)
MFT: did this on 7/29/11 @ 155#, sets of 10 up to 70, then a set of 20, and one last set of 11 to honor Spinal Tap. A few people around the project have been doing this session and I got roped into trying it. I didn't think it would be so bad after having done 10x10 Front Squat @ 135# twice in the last month but the delayed soreness was significant. Day two will stick in my head for a while. The workout is probably easier for a light guy because he has to push less weight. On the other hand, he has less to push it with. Who knows? All speculation gets resolved by actually lifting the weight.
I posted this to the Twitter feed recently: Debating the science of diet/ training on the internet usually means you don't spend enough time practicing the activities themselves. When discussion becomes a surrogate for action itself we lose our perspective. The actual DOING usually answers all the questions one might ever wish to debate, for training and for diet. Try it out. The result need not be ideal but there must be a result to actually evaluate - and discuss.
